Products and Artwork

Original Artwork

Original artwork is one-of-a-kind. Each piece is handmade and may have slight variations in color, texture, or appearance from photographs shown on our website. These variations are part of the artwork's unique character and are not considered defects.

Fine Art Prints

Prints are high-quality giclée reproductions on archival paper. Colors may vary slightly from screen to print due to monitor calibration differences. We strive for accurate color representation in all product photography.

Framing

Artwork ships unframed unless explicitly stated otherwise. Frame visualizations shown in our wall preview tool are for reference only and do not represent included items. See our FAQ for more information on framing.

Orders and Payment

Pricing

All prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. The price at the time of purchase will be honored for that transaction.

Payment

We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. Payment is processed securely through our payment provider. Your order is not confirmed until payment is successfully processed.

Order Confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation when your order is placed and another when it ships with tracking information.

Shipping

Processing Time

Orders typically ship within 5-7 business days. Custom orders, commissions, and high-demand items may require additional processing time.

Shipping Methods

We ship via carriers that provide tracking and insurance. International orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the buyer.

Shipping Damage

All shipments are insured. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photographs of the damage. We will work with you to resolve the issue through replacement or refund.

Returns and Refunds

Original Artwork

Due to the unique nature of original artwork, all sales of originals are final. We encourage you to carefully review all product images and descriptions before purchasing.

Prints

If you are not satisfied with your print purchase, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. Prints must be returned in original condition and packaging. Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

Commissions

Commission deposits are non-refundable once work has begun. Please ensure you are comfortable with the commission agreement before placing a deposit.

Commissions

Custom commissions are subject to separate terms discussed during the consultation process. Generally:

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your spot
  • The remaining balance is due upon completion, before shipping
  • One round of minor revisions is included
  • Major changes after work has begun may incur additional fees
  • Cancellations after work has begun forfeit the deposit

Copyright

All artwork, images, and content on this website are protected by copyright and are the property of Kate Standiford unless otherwise noted. Purchasing artwork does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.

Personal Use

Purchased artwork is for personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell copies of the artwork without written permission.

Photography

You are welcome to photograph your purchased artwork for personal sharing on social media. We appreciate credit and tags (@casualweirdness_kate) but do not require them.

Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Use our website for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of our website
  • Copy, scrape, or harvest content without permission

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kate Standiford Art shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or products.
